Good day, I’m a Canadian Airforce Veteran and sent money to Daniil Tigranovich Stepanian as a downpayment on an apartment in Poland. He posed as a landlord and scammed me $1620 Canadian dollars. I was able to find his bank using the visa number the fraudster sent me: (4441xxxx5383143). Please see bank response:

First, contact your bank immediately and report the transaction as fraud. Next, report the scam to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. You can do this online or by calling 1-888-495-8501. Include any emails, screenshots, or communication you had with the scammer. Additionally, file a report with your local police department. Even if they can't recover the money, it helps build a record and may assist if international authorities get involved.
